I’m a freelance writer with a passion for pursuing the stories behind the food we eat. Covering everything from how our food is grown, produced and transported to the people cooking and selling the very best seasonal produce, and what happens to the food we throw away.
I am also a hugely enthusiastic grower of all things edible. This spills over into a keen desire to encourage everyone to grow at least one thing they can eat. I write guides to growing herbs, fruit and vegetables and recipes for creating delicious meals using home grown produce.
My work has been published in The Foodie Bugle, Salt magazine, Yorkshire Living and Chickpea, and I’ve worked with food and edible gardening companies to promote their products. I am also an experienced ghost writer.
I’m always interested in new writing projects, as well as vegetarian and vegan recipe development and testing. If you are looking for writer for a project, get in touch – I’d be happy to talk with you.
