Compact plants with lovely deep red flowers and dark green foliage. Especially nice in pots and windowboxes. The flowers and leaves are edible, with a distinctive peppery taste. Nasturtiums make good companion plants in a kitchen garden, pulling in predatory insects and attracting blackfly to help keep them away from your vegetables.
