Also known as scorpion weed or fiddleneck because of the shape of the pale purple flower as it uncurls. Phacelia is a lovely plant to grow for bees. It’s incredibly undemanding and will tolerate neglect… in fact, left to its own devices it will self-seed across the garden. As well as being a brilliant pollinator plant it is a good addition to a cut flower garden.
